Flashing gd87 flash into gd88??? - GSM-Forum

Hello all members
Who had tested flashing gd88 with M and M, MyKy and Maxims software??? As I know it is only for gd87.
I need to flash russian language in gd88 and gd87e. may be there are an another way???

AFAIK the 87 and 88 are basically the same phone. Only the name is changed... for whatever reasons I don't know. That is why our UK friends refer to this as Gx8x. =)

Flashing I'm not sure.. coz I haven't tried. You can check out gd87.com forum for more info.

yes..basically, gd87 and gd88 are very similar
GD87, GU87 ....are to all europ ,United state/ canada country ...without chinese language pack inside

GD88 .....u can find it in china, HK....and mainly difference is they are with chinese language package inside....

Maybe flashfile you flashed is corrupted. Have you tried with other flash files. Try downloading from other "trustable" sites. Good Luck

yes..I nearly killed my phone with a corrupted file..
totally agree with hannukkah ...about the TRUSTABLE source..

cos after many download ..upload..
problem might happen ...and corrupt the files...

Freinds are the flash files for Gd 67 = Gd68 and Gd 87 = Gd88, Please tell me are the files for these models same ?? cause since now I havnt found files for Gd-68 and no winmodo which supports Gd-68 flashing, tell me where I can get it ?
