gd88 sim error, is this simlock or not ??? - GSM-Forum

hi ..

i have a gd88 which shows sim error when inserted simcard, it shows insert sim card when simcard not inserted, can anybody please tell me if this is some kind of simlock or it's hardware defective, thanks for any answers

=simlock - where did you get the phone and what software does it have?

Unfortunately your phone has hardware failure
hard enough for repair

strike4a : i got the phone from ausie, and how can i know the phone soft, any trick for knowing the phone soft ? thanks be4

crew : if it's hardware problem, please tell me which section could be possibly defective ? and why it's hard enough for repair ?

If you see sim error it is hardware problem.
Change the power supply for the sim reader.
