GD87 Battery Settings

I messed up the correct settings while playing around with cb2k(battery calibration values),now the phone shuts off after only 20 hrs standby!(low battery)
Don't have a manual and don't know how to find the correct settings.
If I flash the phone with a new firmware would it reset the values?
Any Help?

Thanks ,I may very well need to buy another battery but since I've changed the settings won't I damage the new one as well?
That brings me back to the original question(s);
If I flash the phone would it be resetting the battery parameter settings? or
How can I reset to the factory setting(Battery calibration)?
Any one?
THX

u had not make mention of the outcome of change u made to battery. I think setting it to factory setting will help...but first let me know the outcome of the change u made.

Well ,changing the original settings has resulted in the battery not storing much power any more.It only takes 10-15 mins to fully recharge this battery and when fully recharged it's only good for ~20 hrs of standby or half an hour of talk time

You cannot take battery calibrations from another one cause each pcb has its own settings.
So you have to get a high level ebgd 87 service manual with an oscilloscoper and then search the way to tune battery settings in this type of phones.

you need a service battery and a multimeter and cb2000 if you have these i can post the procedure but if you dont have a service batt all you can do is copy another fone settings which should be close enough to get fone working rreasonably well but it wont be at its optimum

Lacking the needed hardware naturally I took the dumb way out(lately it's becoming a habit)
Used the "hi628" "lo448" values and it seems to be working fine.My standby went back to 2-3 days.
