gd87 keeps reblocking

I have a Panasonic gd87 that has had the imei changed twice but is still locked to vodafone, the simlock can't be entered and the phone has been barred twice even after the imei change!.

does anyone know what's going on and how to cure it?

Many thanks

I can get the sim lock codes easily as i have access to a Data One unlocking clip, but you can't actually enter the codes into the phone as the NCK counter is used up, however my main problem isn't the lock status it's the fact that even though the imei has been changed TWICE the phone has re-barred after a few days each time!. i don't understand why, can anybody give me a clue how to cure this?.

most likely because the sim card you used in it was the same, and vodafone now monitor slight changes in imei numbers.

No the sim card wasn't the same at all in fact the sim card had never been in the phone prior to it blocking, however i think you may have hit the nail on the head with the second comment about slight changes to the imei no. perhaps it's better to change the last 6 no.s completely an see what happens.

Thanks for you help.
