gd87 not turning on after imei change.. - GSM-Forum

i used a script to change the imei and the following appeared in panareader...

------------------------------------
Old IMEI: 35106898297582
New IMEI: 35068630865990
------------------------------------
> Data written successfuly

but now the phone wont power on and when I try to write an imei log it gives me the imei of 00000000000000...

anyone know how to fix this prob?

Also...

in CB20000 it gives me product number 1..
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ
and the same for number 2

what went wrong?!

I just compared the 35106898297582.I87 and the 35106898297582.87S files and I noticed that the whole file is completely identical except for about 60 characters half way down

is this normal?

has anyone had this problem before?

is it repairable/

when I try turning it on it just says 'invalid sim'

I tried flashing it but in WINMODO when I click 'begin' and it says 'signalling' when I powr on the fone it just goes to the 'invalid sim' screen

weird?

anyone have any suggestions?
