GD87 Power Down - GSM-Forum

I have a GD87 which is just out of warrantee and guess what, its stopped working. The phone used to power up fine but would then power down shortly afterwards and now when the phone is put on charge it will charge for a few minutes but will then stop. The phone has never been drooped or exposed to water. could this be a sw prob or a faulty battery?? Help's appreciated, Thanks.

Seems only battery fault or Power IC faulty!!

Try taking the battery into the shop and getting them to do a capacity test.
