GD87 Unlocking Problem - GSM-Forum

Hi,

Having followed the guide up to where I've block off pins 1 & 4 and have loaded CB2000, when I select 'Write Handset', I get a message saying:

GET ERR DISP
ENABLE

If I then continue and follow through to the 'Function Clear (Memory Erase) and click it, I get this:

MMI DEFAULT
PASSED

Can anyone help me at all?

try using winmodo 3.3 .. it's much easier!!!! f u have griffin the fastest and easiest way...

I thought WinModo was only used to flash the fone?

I need to unlock it...

Finally managed to run Crack2D to unlock my GD87 after switching COM ports round.

Checked in CB2000 to validate status and it says it's unlocked.

But when I insert another sim card into it from another provider it says it's invalid?!?

Can anyone help please?

*EDIT* Never mind - sorted now I forgot the 746 menu and forgot to enter the NET number.

hi guys
i got problem with GD88 as well after i changed imei and its say invalid sim, i try 746 -- SIM--- UNLOCK BLOCKED- CONTACT SUPPLIER, ---- SUB-NETWORK AND SERVICE PROVIDER ALSO BLOCKED..

please help thanks

Crack2D for read Code (Phone software version must be A22 or lower)

CB2000 not for unlock, it is for service use.

USB Cable: block pins 4 & 10
Serial Cable: don't need Block pin.
