use Skeptiks tool

you should be able to fix it easily. Downgrade it first and then you can work on it to restore your imei.

did you try searching in this forum ? Do not expect answers as if you are in a restaurant here in the future . No pain no gain.

Read this for Ghost's free tool :-

install it properly.

done that go to tools and insert the imei you have on the sticker back of the phone.

Then start the operation. Press the power button on phone and it should be detected and the process start.

Follow the instructions that the utility shows up. Do NOT do anything else if not asked to.

The script is used to make the operation faster. Otherwsie you ll need full flashing without script if i am not mistaken. Been quite some time i used it mate.

If i remember correctly if the phone is connected correctly it shoudl trigger up that it was detected anyway.

check your cables.... and that it is properly set up on win98.
