My Gd87 is dead - GSM-Forum

I flashed today a gd87 at 115200 bps with freegsm.biz and at the end says chk error.

I tried the 2 flashes that are in this page and no one works for me

I use cable + external 9v power.

Please HELP!!

try with diferent language pack

Now, doesn´t want to flash.
Maybe i losted boot.
Is the same problem like gd92 and gd93?
Is dead forever?

Try latest A39 flash files. Becuase maybe your phone is latest version and don't support lowest flash files.

If your phone is not willing to flash again.. Its very hard to revive it again... READ old posts about reviving dead PANASONIC PHONES.

the data in boot (PCB)will be lost if you remove the battery during the flashing proces..it's like RAM ...data will be lost with power off..

The solution for re-aliving the GD87 is quite complicated with lots of software and soldering involved.....I don't suggest u to do that if u are not exprience in doing that..

sorry one more thing...
if u haven't removed the battery....
your case should be able to be solved by flashing with a proper file..email me..
but sad to tell u until now...I still can't find a 100% perfect flash file which works on all phones..
some might have problem in SMS (press review--> error)..
some on MMS and some on characters...
even I have done all things I need to do..(used WINMODO,CB2000)...
anyway...I use other program to unlock new firmware GD87 and GU87..no more flashing

Hi,

First try to full charge battery /on some other phone !/,then run Winmodo under XP
After what click on BOOT mode and he will apper in RED then try to flash your phone
If u have some error it's not a prob,then remove battery again and this time flash with Boot and Main activated /in green !/
Solution tested on 3 DEAD Phones and work great
Use Version 22 to flash phone

Hi !
i have the same problem with GU87 ! but now every thing ok !
- try reflash with GD87 ver 21 , use Winmodo - select Boot + main flas ( Green in activated ) , Baud rate = 115200 .
