LG pack

Here is a link to my server, where you can download a zip file,
with two lg packs inside. I previsously flashed my GD with one of them, and my phone showed me strange writings (chinese or japanese, or I dont know). Test it, if it is good post your results in this thread...

They are both Chinese, but neither of them appears to be for A39. The one called GCD87L94.rel is the correct Chinese LP for A22 - I think the other one is probably for A3?, but I don't have the FW it works correctly with.

Both of them only have three language selections available - English, and Chinese with a choice of simplified or traditional characters.

I flashed it with a39 firmware to my phone, it works.
Language packs as far as I know are firmware independent.

Could you send me the copy of the A39 main firmware you have? I just tried again, and the LP definately doesn't work with the A39 I have (when you select Chinese, there are corrupted menus, and some options cause the MMI to reset). The A39 I have only apprears to work correctly with language packs using translation data version 56.

Thanks,

Sorry, I did not try the menu, because I dont know chinese...
I used a39 no camera sound firmware, I only know the phone works with the language packs. I am searching for a Hungarian language pack, with no success, I have the same problem, as You with the Chinese language pack...

Regards,
Mike

I have a language pack that contains Hungarian (along with other central and eastern european languages), but it appears to be incompatible with A39 (like the Chinese pack) - it does work OK with A21 and A22.

If it's any use, I'll send you a copy.

Thanks, I have the same version, wich messes up menu texts with a39 sw. I think we have to wait for new LPs for a39.

Hi all;

From my understanding, this is the way to match the firmware and
language pack(chinese language pack)

A19/A21-----GCD87L37

A22-----------GCD87L94

A39-----------GCD87L56

A53-----------GCD87L61( not for sure)
