Unhappy Panasonic VS2 Information needed

Hey guys need some help with a Panasonic VS2 that i've just bought. I just need afew questions answered really, as i've been told all sorts of conflicting information.

Q1: My panasonic is Locked to the Vodafone(UK) network, i want to return it to its original Panasonic firmware. I have looked high and low for the Flasher program and the firmware thats needed and found nothing suitable. Can you help?

Q2: What cable is required for Flashing/Data transfer is it the sharp GX15 or the Panasonic GD60? Does it matter if they are USB or Serial cables?

Q3: The 52428** trick to unblock the sim card i have already tryed, i used an imei calulator for a NEC E228 and used the 8 digit code after the 4960 bit, and the phone accepted the code, But it didn't make any difference, the VS2 said something about blocking, or unblocking, i can't remember exactly...But now i can't seem to be able to enter anymore codes Do you only get one chance at unlocking it this way?
It was the 'NETWORK' sub-option where i could enter this code, nothing else in this menu had an editable option.

Q4: Do i need to buy..(If all else fails) the infinity box, £179 is alot of money just to debrand one phone.

Thats it i think, hope you guys can help this GSM n00b

Thanks for the replies.

Unfortunatly 88 euros or whatever that equates to in pounds, is still more than i am willing to pay for one mobilephone.
If i was in the business of unlocking phones for a living i would bite the bullet and get the Infinity Box, but its just not worth it

Maybe i should just sell the phone and get a different one, cos every web-site i've looked at today seem to be all NOKIA unlocking and stuff.

If the only way to unlock and debrand this phone is to buy a very expensive piece of hardware that i will only use once, then this phone is about as much use to me as a chocolate teapot.
I have spent most of today searching the internet to find some firm that can debrand my phone but so far i have only found one service, and it's proving difficult to get hold of them via email. (www.fonefunshop.co.uk)

If anybody know of a reputable company based in the United Kingdom, that can do what i ask, then i would be more then happy to know about it.

Thanks again
