Reading Gd55 Flash - GSM-Forum

Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to read one gd55 & then re-write the flash to another & what software can do this.

Original question " what software can do this"

It,s obvious removing the flash ic & reading it with prom programmer is one option but not practical on an every day basis.
