Member: 38084 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 115  | Solutions for dead GD87 2) Open Winmodo and load main flash 3) Connect a WORKING GD87 and click "Download" 4) When ask for continue, disconnect Working GD87 and connect DEAD GD87 5) continue update 6) to end it say "download failed" 7) without disconnect cable and battery, load working flash Regards LEENO |

Member: 4611 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 68 | if you erased the boot loader on the flash, its knacked. this solution wont work. You need to do the first part, then desolder the flash ic, and swap it with the dead phones flash ic..sorry |

Member: 9955 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 7 | :) I think our friend ask to put winmodo in GANG MODE but to revive dead gd87 with erased boot sector there is only 2 solutions at this moment. Also, i don't think him solution can works without open/reverse flash chips. 1st one is by JTAG 2nd one is with working GD87 and dead one to reverse flash file from dead one to working one... This solution was posted here , on this forum my our friend M.COM and it is working 100%. |
