Hi!

I have a cable that can fit into a GD93. Which software can I unlock it with? Can all cables that fits into GD93 unlock it, or can I have a cable that doesn't work?

Hi Laxxe !

Yes...it is very much possible that a cable that fits in to your gd93 may not be the one for it.

do not flash or unlock your phone straight away...

try a few softwares that just read information from your mobile.

If these s/ws can communicate with your mobile, then the cable is ok.

Now u can unlock ur phone without much pain.

its better to use a software that reads the unlock code from your mobile and displays it on your screen, rather than the ones that directly try to unlock.

keep 1 thing in mind. and this is the most imp. of all....
1. Ensure that your phone battery is almost full.
2. If by chance the phone goes in FLASH mode...never switch off the phone or remove the battery. Let the flashing process end. reload your fone with working flash and only then switch it off.

If u wanna know y I am so concerned, read the message with the subject: 1 more GD92 dead .

Where do I find this soft you're talking about? I don't do Panasonic phones so much, so you're help is really appreciated.

BTW - On this new board, I don't think it's possible to rate people...

Exactly which software are your saying I should use? I HAVE tried to unlock a GD93 before, but just nothing worked... It's some months ago now.

well....
1st of all... mobile.box.sk is not in french....its in English
try the panasonic link and u'll get many unlockers.

2. mine is (actually WAS) a Panasonic GD92....so i donno about GD93...

but since most of the softwares support both, GD92 and 93...lemme check my downloads folder...I'll let u know about the gud unlocking s/ws in a min.

I know mobile.box.sk - I prefer not to use it. There's SOOOO much trash at that site...

I would prefer software that's tested by someone here...

I have tried service box (chbox) downloaded from mobile.box.sk.....and it works fine. It'll not only display the unlock code but will give u each and every detail about ur phone. more over...its not a s/w from any tom DICK or harry, Its an official software from matsu****a for service guyz.. the only prob. is that it is a bit complicated to use...try it if u fell comfortable...

I don't want to change the languages in the phone, and I've already tried one of the programs youre linking to - didn't work.

You're saying you've used them for GD92... It might not be the same.

And it's not 100% sure my cable can be used for unlocking just beacuse it can communicate with the phone...

So I'm looking for software that can tell if my cable works.

Exactly what software did you use to find the unlock-code? And was it for GD 92, GD 93 or both?

well...if all u wanna do is unlock ur GD93, then d/l the service box from the link above...use it to read your unlock code...then quit the program...switch off-on ur phone...now u can enter the code in ur phone to unlock it.

I have tried service box for my GD92...and although a bit complicated...its the best software for panasonic phones.

Sounds really simple, but does it work with ALL versions of GD92/93? They're protecting the phones more and more for unlocking

this software can communicate with all GD92/93 provided the cable is ok.

d/l the service box. use it ONLY to read ur unlock code. service box will not destroy ur phone if u use it carefully...once u get to know ur unlock code...the prob. is solved.
