Is there any way to transfer data(ringtone/logo/image) using a regular serial unlock cable?
I have no access to IRda or USB data cable.

Could someone please shed some light on this one.
What's the difference between the serial cables used to unlock the phone and the cable used to transfer data?
Can they be modified to work?
Before buying an IRda or a USB cable,I'd like to know if I can use my unlock cable instead.

On the flash/test mode cable both pins 4 and 10 are no connect - on the data cable pin 4 is linked to AGND (pin 1) and pin 10 is DTR (via an RS-232 level translator, obviously).
