VS6 earpice too soft?

I've read a lot of complaints that Panasonic phones have really low volume in ringers and callers can hardly be heard in noisy places? Is this true?

I'm planning to shift to Panasonic because of its really great display.... but I'd like to be sure first if its true...

And is the VS6 better than the MX7?
