blackberry solution for mep code (0 left)


This is the solution for anyone have mep code 0 left in his handset that no attemt balance for enter code.
1.please install black berry desktop manager. (its free download from black berry website)
2.connect handset with pc.
3.open this software its shows booting rom and ask u phone unlock code(note: its not asking mep code just user code).if not phone code inserted then it update rom automatically.
4.now your handset reboot,
then you got mep code(10 left) in network lock section.

error 8

any ideas?

maybe only works on old models and not any 8-thousand series/model

yes, maybe.
allready tryed with and without sim, diferents sims from diferents operators, open and close desktop manager, reflash, with and without user code and still the same error 8.
however the program ask for user code and reboot the phone like in the instructions by cgsm.
something is diferent in this model...

hummm, i tryed in many ways and 'till cant reset the counter.
maybe im doing something wrong but im follwing the procedure you explained step by step. it worked perfect with a 71xx.
the 8800 that im trying to reset is from cingular USA, i dont know if thats part of the problem, maybe software version... i dont know.
sometime ago i asked if theres any way to reset the counter to the person who provides me the codes and told me "nothing u can do right now" but, im still looking for a solution.
if u have an idea about where i could be making a mistake with the procedure you explained ill really apreceate your comments.

Its work 1000% with my Blackberry T-Mobile 8700.No need to enter any code if your password is disable.Just connect phone with Desktop Manager & run Rom Booter,Its take only few second & your blackberry restart
with 10 counter

not working with 8320 from Claro - Brazil, but worked fine with 7105t.

i tested it old series like 7*** and works fine but i still get error 8 in 8*** series

Tried it on a 7290 locked to Cingular but my Network status is still blocked and no way to get it to enter the code...
