I got a Iphone 3GS 16GB locked to unknown operator("Carrier - Not Available") probably Movistar Spain the model is MC157Y version 4.2.1. Can you unlock it?

i have a locked iphone... my provider is fido...
when i bought the iphone... it used to work with fido... i ended up rebooting it for a lock reason... had lost the password.... now i cant find wich provider it used to be with so i can even be able to activate the phone

and the imei is:
01 254500 798943 7

and the iccid is:
8930 2370 2010 1348 2534

i wish that somebody could help with this been without a phone for 3 days thank you guyz.

Mate, supplier says ANY iPhone, you can't imagine I actually know if every single operator is supported, especially those from Asia which have always been a problem.
So far all we've sent them got unlocked, that's about all I can say.

If for an Iphone 4 sent to unlock as Bouygues France received following answer: ''Phone has not been purchased more than 6 months ago.'' can be unlock if I put as Worldwide ?
