Have you tried just powering on the device with an unaccepted simcard inside and see if it asks for the code?

no phone is not here. it has the customer, hes waiting for instruction how to enter code.
thought there would be a how-to like there is one for motorola or samsung phones and many more.

1. Insert Incorrect SIM card in the phone
2. Phone will state “network Locked” and ask you to input unlock code
3. Enter the code provided.

yes i unlocked a mda compact III like that
just put a non-accepted sim then it will ask this 8 digit code
