V8 wrong unlock codes - GSM-Forum

Just got wrong codes for a V8...

just got a wrong v8 code. I tried unlock and wap codes withou no success.

So I want to know what's the best way to make you a video to prove that as I don't want to loose my logs as I lost in the past just because I sent phone back to customer before making a video...

I do want my refund.

Just check log:

Job finished on server, downloading data...
Unlock by imei
MOTOROLA

After I enter code and press Unlock I get:

Incorrect Code

This code is incorrect, please try again

Now, after trying some times I got the wait msg:

Subsidy Lock

Phone is subsidy locked. Please contact Service Provider. Only emergency calls are allowed

But as we all know after some time it will ask for susbsidy code again... so I do need a correct code.

I had same problem with V8 from Vivo ( Brazil ) and at end lost my credits...

, ALL other moto phones works fine... including from Vivo operator...

Yes i think is one problem with V8 locked in Brazil... i dont know why, we will ask and we will post here !

same problem with the new K1 from Rogers ... remember ? the K1 with firmware R47121 needs 16 digit subsidy passwords and the server is not giving the FULL code

In total I had trouble with 3 different V8. All wrong codes.

But some other went fine. All brazilians....

2 were from Vivo and 1 from Claro.

V8, U3 and some W510 are getting this kind of problem. None of those models from Claro can be unlocked by codes, whether is mtunlock, numbers-and-codes, allgsmunlock or other service. Only had problem with Vivo once, but was a W510, and were unlocked by mssII.

already lost more than 20 codes, from several services.. :-(

well for all friends here i have the same preoblem with 3 v8 from brazil vivo and after long time catching support no refund just losing

Tell me the jobs for which this problems happen and we'll see what can be done. Either get new codes or refund your credits.
