Can new locosto be flashed with scout at least? (I mean the ones that cannot be unlocked via smartclip, that hangs at "sending boot").

@ FREEGuille,

Try to flash it with the latest version of SCout flasher with the *.sfl flash file.
If some error appears, please save log file and post it here.

I think W396 with new boot can't be flashed.

hangs at "transfer loader"

SCout 1.33. Flashing "W397v,W388,W396" on "USB" with firmware "C:\Documents and Settings\Guillermo Fittipaldi\DOWNLOADS\FLASHES\MOTOROLA\ODM\COMPAL\W 396\CLARO_SW_W396_0.1.43.K2_LP_W396_0143_LA1_FLEX_ W396_AK_00F_1FF.mot"...
Connect phone with a battery at least 40% full of charge...
Initiation...
Transfer loader...

then disconnect the cable and says:

Loader is not in the handset

@ FREEGuille,

Flashing of the Compal based phone models with new CPU versions was added in a test mode. As can be checked from the log file you've posted the set you have currently can not be flashed properly.
Please provide us with detailed phone information.

First, it's necessary to unlock it (via codes).
Now even unlocked, Scout can´t flash it (Stays at "sending loader", and then "loader is not in the handset")
Now unlocked, it can be succesfully flashed via MOTOGATE (Motorola Official Support).
