Motorola A853 Milestone Help - GSM-Forum

Hy

I have here one Motorola A853 with message:
phone is subsidy locked. please contact service provider. only emergency calls are allowed

I wait some hours. i make hard reset, i make full flash with scount( change operator personalization) with a retail flash, but always same message.

I have the code but now way to insert this code.

Any help please

It have nothing in common with SCout , but you can try following:

1. Reboot your phone with an unaccepted SIM card in.
*If the display reads “Enter Special Code”, enter the unlock code and press “OK”
*If the display does not read “Enter Special code”:
2. Press and hold the * key until an entry box is displayed.
3. Type *, #, 3, 2, # and press “OK”
4. Enter your Motorola unlock code and press “OK.”
5. Your Motorola phone should now display either “Completed” or
“Deleted”

asterisk button (suppose to be alt+K)

Also try

1. Power on the handset with alien SIM card
2. Now type #073887 or (#073887*)
3. A screen will come up requesting unlock code.
4. Enter your unlock code.
5. Hit enter and your done!

I got these informations and I'm testing, I will say if you work

Power on the handset with alien SIM card...

Just wait that long until it shows the option to enter codes

Leave on for two days , long time

Does anyone have any solution faster?
