u right man i face this porblem i have receive V8 (2gb) has unlock code i successfully reset it by master reset but when i try to change the code to new one it said wrong code although the reset is DONE so how return the code to 1234 ?????

Same to me with V8(512mb) reset usercode by Scout ok but can't get default code to change. When I change code and put 000000 always get old code not correct. and another thing, user code can be resetted but unlock code ( I mean function code) can't be resetted.

sir i did remove one v8 user code but another v8 and u9 when i conect its show now new hardware mts or mt detected and dont install driver. i left it for long. and i got message to restart my computer to work this driver perfect and i did reboot my pc but still same problem any help plz

Try to install latest Motorola driver installer http://developer.motorola.com/docsto...set_USB_Driver
But looks like something is wrong in driver installation procedure.

I have same problem with V8 T-mobile. Customer has security code on phone and the phone does not allow the drivers to be loaded/installed. It keeps Disconnecting the phone both in Smart clip and Scout. On scout if you connect without sim the phone displays the message during the MTP DEVICE installation >>> ""The USb connection has been cancelled. The phone is now charging........""
Anyone has other solutions???

yes..reset only desactivate the code.for come back to 1234/000000 you need to flash with same version.

how about moto q9h... i've locked up of q9h cause wrong flashed with the rom locked phone..can scout handle the unlock these..thanks

hi Whevener I connect the e8 to my pc i see "new hardware found mtp" The drivers for it wont install. Do I have to flash the phone to reset the phone code? I am awaiting your speedy response.
