comunication error on gcl1 - GSM-Forum

hello,

unlocked more than 30 pieces of this model, but got one here that cannot comunicate with sw whatsoever..

Waiting for ignition...OK
Loading Boot.......
Box communication timeout! 5
Please check connections and reset box
EE

what i have tried:

- resoldering wires
- reseting box
- switching tx and rx (but then it does not boot)
- made cable shorter and longer (10cm, 15cm and 20cm)
- downloaded new version (8.0) and new pvers.sig

still nothing... any hint?

Maybe it is new hardware... hard to say where is the problem exactly

problem solved, was box hardware fault. replaced ft2232c, wrote its eprom with mprog, and resoldered the pcb, now all working fine.

odd thing, why do some got unlocked, and others couldn´t even send boot.. well, f*ck, it´s done. case closed.
