Go to bookmark "settings" - and select correct com port. In my case multi-box port is 3 ( do not change it ), phone com port is 6. ( is very important to select correct phone com port - in other case you will get always error in connection )

AS I GONE THROUGH THE SUPPORT DOCS

HOW TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT CORRECT PHONE COM PORT

Try this - I told already:

1. Take the Multi-box and connect it to USB-port of PC using the USB cable.

2. Start the LG2G tool of the latest version. One socket will began blinking at the same moment - this must be one called "UNI".
3. Go to bookmark "settings" - and select correct com port. In my case multi-box port is 3 ( do not change it ), phone com port is 6. ( is very important to select correct phone com port - in other case you will get always error in connection )

4. Go back to main bookmark and select correct phone model and working speed.

5. Connect your phone to cable and then plug the cable to blinking socket "UNi" ( phone must be off ). Press "connect" botton and then press the botton +vcc 5V on box.

You will see readed info from your phone: IMEI, phone version and model. ( sometimes software don't show you version and model - don't worry - you can continue your work )
If you get error: ERROR - Phone don't answer RF - that mean that selected working speed is not good for this model - try to select slower speed.

5. Select flash files 1 and 2. First flash file is codedata, second - AlchemyData.

6. Press "write flash" botton.

Flashing progress starts. Now you can take a cup of tea.
7. DONE

Press "disconnect" botton on software. Disconect the phone from box, cable. Reconect the battery and swith on the phone. Phone working - firmware changed!

This is a sample - how to use LG tool. Your problem is that you select wrong com port.

I think you should change 1. multi box serial port in the Device info ( It is MULTIBox port)
from com53 to com7
and 2. multi box serial port in the Device info. ( It is Phone com Port) from com54 to com6

and unplug the MultiBox and Connect again and check both ( Com6 and Com7) Communication Port in the Device info.

It was my fault too, than my Box didn't work with any LG2 phone.

Man no - if you have 53 and 54 ports - try to select in soft 55,56,57 port it will work. No need to change nothing in your system.
