insert activated pkey problem (not a dead pkey question) - GSM-Forum

hi

we are having a lot of dificulty with customers getting a new jaf and pkey

they install it all ok, but when they try to launch jafversion 1.98.63 or higher it states insert activated pkey when launched

it will work fine on 1.98.62 but not any any higher version.

im not sure if these new pkeys require different drivers or something like that, can you please advise as this problem is becomming an epidemic here for our customers

yeah bro, i have a hell of a problem trying to get it working. ive tryed posting on the 64.XX fixed! thread but seems to get lots of different reply with different solutions which dont work.

but yeah just use this link and see what ppl have replied and see if anything works for you

yes still no result to match my original p-key with jaf soft.

now I still use V63 work and updating Pkey

my opinion is jaf V64 & V64fix could not run in xp+SP1+SP2+SP3 because I try it many times(uninstall OS)

the result still "Pkey not detected, please insert activated Pkey"

many poeple sugestin in windogs vista, yes it will be somedays.

BTW anybody have a good result to run this V64&V64fix in XP non vista?

if yes, please upload the picture with your OS screen shoot.

I will thankfull for that.

JAF launching update in V64&V64Fix just respons for Pkey Emulator. but why killing your *******rs too with windows XP Vista.

Look at MxKey, they had a coder antiEmulator, they software couldnot run in emulator anymore but run in any windows XP. so they safe they customers as well. and shows that they not waek.

are JAF could do that like MxKey? safe your customers firts not killing them, please.

anyway i was told by my supplier friend which deals with the box (any phone box) supplier that we will need to purchase a new pkey for the new V64 software but im still waiting for an answer from him...

Anyhow im like you using 1.xx.63 at the moment for my mainstream stuff (older phones) and i have also installed the pkey emulator (on another computer!!!) for the N97 flashing. (it works & 1000% tested with 1 unit

today)

The emulator is the only solution i have for the mean while for the n97 until i know what to do and how to get the new version 1.xx.64 working on my computer with my original pkey..
