com port infinity IMEI change problem for CPU MT6225 ferrari phone new medium size - GSM-Forum

I have problem with new medium size ferrari phone and need to chnge the imei number as it start with 13555xxxx and this kind of imei number does not work with o2 and vodafone uk,
i try all the codes here and there is no code to enable com port for me as i can`t change the imei number via infinity if comport is not activated.

Please some one give some advise.
does spiderman box can change the imei without original usb cable?
I now phone is :CPU MT6225 as when i connect it to pc as a webcam it comes CPU MT6225 first and then install it automaticly.
help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
phone take nokia small pin charger and on the side it take usb cable and port looks similar to d800 samsung

did u try to write imei with mode 2 or 3????what cable r u using with infinity

I use the original cable , comes with the phone.
do i need special cable for mode 2 or mode 3?

need to use rj45 cable.open phone and check for testpoints marked as rx tx ???

Can you explain more,
do i need to use the test point rj45 cable to change the imei?
i have 70 Pcs of this phones it will be big problem to do them this way.
also do you know if the spider man machine can do this more easy than infinity as i have the infinity and will buy the spider man if it can do the job quick.

find pinouts with spiderman.define pins.now open chinese miracle software and select comport used by spiderman.now u can perform any operation u want

hello!

first of you must assemble com port cable.
with a help of it you will be able to use all IMEI changing methods. (1,2,3)
new 6225 cables do not have internal usb<>com port convertor.
those are regular USB cables, which is not usable for IMEI change with any of methods.

what is your phone connector type?
I am sure, with my help, you can assemble cable much more faster than waiting for pinout finding box.

Hi, Thank you for your help. i just bought new infinity box to do this phones.
i did many of this phones like ferrari and n97 and iphone(chinees) before but this new phones they wont give me option for comport when i connect them via usb cable wich comes with the phone.
here is picture for new ferrari. i have 60 Pcs of them, thank you in advance.

hello!

power on phone
take multimeter
set it to "V" (voltage measuring)
one multimeter probe put to some grounded phone part.
connector shield is also OK.
with another proble touch one by one each connector pin.
check each pin voltage.
when you see voltage between 2,7...2,9- those are Tx/Rx
find them and we will continue with instructions of assembling own cable

i just bought the infnity pin finder and is on the way.
as i have 5 different model of this phones with different cables so it was better to buy pinfinder to make the jub faster.
as much as i know with the pinfinder cables i don`t need to modify cable for this phone, is this correct?

Yes pinfinder its the best way.
You no need modify anithing only conect,detect pinouts and enjoy.

hello!

yes, using pinfinder you dont have modify cables.
sometimes phones dont keep tx/rx in system connector.
only in this case you must disassemble phone and search for test points on PCB. by my own experience- this is happening in 5%-10% of cases
