Hello,
1. If phone can power on with battery and dont power on with power from pinfinder whats wrong? i have cect c168 (dont power on with cable). probelm with phone is that it restarts with sim even can make emergency call without sim. but if it dont power on with power from pinfinder then how to solve the problem.
2. If set is completely dead, and even dont power on with pinfinder power and battery also, then how to detect pins? voltages from the wires are about +5v. I have cect c8600. was fell down but worked for 2-3 days normly and then powerd off. now dont power on even with pinfinder power.

hello!

1. phone can be not_powerable_on by two rason:

a) Diode must be removed from main infinity box, which is limiting output voltage to 4,2volts.
b) capacitor must be set to pinfinder output

both procedures is described in pinfinder user manual, trublshooting section.

2) Pinfinder after mentioned above modifications will detect pinout even on dead phone.
But it must be dead by software reason (for example erased flash).
you also can find pinout using multimeter, but phone must be with full charged battery.
voltages measured with power supplyer connected are not correct.
So just attach good charged battery and repeat measurments
