Hi,

this mobile has 12 pins and from pinfinder set of cables is suitable only

L12C cable

SO it has 12 pins 2x6 pin

I cant connect pinfinder to this phone, because, I cant remove battery (it is like original iphone cover)...
See pictures.

OK, I can open it...

But for example, NOKIA 8800 ARTE, there is no problem with connection phone to pinfinder, but I cant find correct pinout...

it is cable L05B, I have this cable, this one is suitable, but in software is no L05B, can it makes problems with finding RX TX?

It has 5 PINS but cable L5A is something else....

if you have cable 1x5 then just select 1x5 and try to find and post results if no luck then it must be on PCB

hello!

PCB is Printed Circuit Board, in other words main phone board.
Most 5pin connector phones uses test points on PCB.

ok,

so nokia arte 8800 is PCB, no chance to use INFINITY PIN FINDER, very bad!!!

But what next?

I see 13 test points in PCB.

I have "3 OPEN WIRES" by infinity pin finder, which one I need to use?
4 wires, 8 wires, 12 wires??

OK, must I solder all 13 test points with this cable, or need I solder only test points RX, TX with OPEN cable??? (understand me? must i make 12 soldering, or 2 solderings are enough???)

How can I measure voltage for 1 -13 test point? where is GND on this phone???

hello!

if you want find test points automaticly- you must solder all test points to open cable.
if you want to measure voltage- then you must take out wire from negative battery terminal

and last: pinout for this phone is available in our pinout collection \InfinityBox\pinout

also here is very understandable picture, which explanes how to search test points:

ok, and once question more:

What does it means exactly this:

"...then you must take out wire from negative battery terminal"

You said that battery must be attached, or not???

How can I attach battery without "negative battery terminal"??
Or I dont understand exactly, do you have another picture???

you can use thin wire together with battery.
