Member: 718412 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | Procedure of changing MTK CPU ??? I've got problem here... I have a chinese phone with MTK 6226 inside, the CPU was really2 overheat, because user of the phone do a big mistake. But the phone works normally,like signal etc.. And then I try to change cpu and reflash with my own backup of full flash, but the phone can't be turned on.If i use the old cpu the phone works like before (with overheat of course). Now,my question is how the right procedure to change cpu? thanks, |

Many Chinese models has protection based on CPU ID. At first try to read flash from phone (with original CPU) and check text in operation log window very carefully. Post it here so we can check it too. Then we will see what to do. | |
