Anyone unlocked 6280 with SEC 610 SE7C Chip? - GSM-Forum

Hi?

just wanted to ask if anyone had succeeded in unlocking a 6280 with the SEC 610 SE7C (K8S5615ETA) Chip.
I have tried with UID but no luck. Hoping someone has a way round it, as I dont want to try any funny tricks. It has come to me with counter at 3/3, but I know from past experience that UID has unlocked many such with 3/3, but with other type of flash chip.

yes Uid got a great history unlocking 3/3 counter .... but may be u are having plms with Box sending the coeds .. have u chked it ?

if ur keycounter is over u can use usb cable to unlock ur set use the latest exe

I have tried another 6280 with SPANSION flash, and it has failed to unlock as well, so maybe I could be having a problem with sending codes to the phone. I use DSS to send the codes, but even though it says the code was sent, the unlock process doesnt complete, as it normally does, with the phone going on and off automatically. I shall wait and try another simple phone just to be sure it is working well or not.

Hi? I discovered that there was a small 'cut' in the CLK cable, so the TP was not OK. I fixed that and managed to unlock the phone with the SEC flash, but now I have a SPANSION flash 6280, but the UID says PHONE UNLOCKED, but the phone doesn't go on and off at the end of the process. The counter is now at 21. and phone is still locked. Any ideas?

Strange, after about 5 more attempts, I finally managed to get the phone to unlock...

Very strange...

Anyway, at the end of the day, the phones are unlocked.
