Same thing with the 5300 with K5G5629ATD flash chip, UI'd doesn't support them and right now 90% of the 5300 that are in the market use that flash.

CONCLUSION: UI'd only unlock's 10% of the 5300 phones in the market. It was a good idea if UI'd update the existing phone's software version's.
The children's box as some say thought about it. For example if you wanna unlock one 6288 with V06.43 you need about 20 mins (downgrade + unlock + upgrade). With the "children's" box you do it in 2 mins.
I'm not taking a party here, 'im an happy UI'd box owner, but sadly that's the true.

As far as i know you still have to disassemble the phone , unlock it and assemble it again.
