W380i unlock problem - GSM-Forum

im trying to unlock a w380i i connected it up to seking v2.22 did the erase lock1 no problem went to unlock2 connected the dcu60 cable went to install the drivers and they all said they were not installed properly ive tried dowloading from differant places but still the same so until i install the drivers i cant do the unlock anyone have any clues?

hi i tried those drivers and its still the same when i plug the phone in im prompted to install the drivers but for each one it says not installed as it could not find the drivers, i deleted them in device manager reinstalled but its till the same i need help to do the unlock2 as at the moment the phone will not take any simcard many thanks

it seems the connecter part has problem.

thats it the connector part has problem!!! i dont think so or i would not have been able to do the remove lock1 would i there is no problem with the phone or cable i just cant install the drivers some support please

Not sure if this will help WR , but connect the phone to your system, without SEKing turned on . Let the computer find the phone. When it does , let it load the drivers autoimatically [have you downloaded the usb drivers?]. Sometimes it takes a while , and needs to be done in 2 sections.If it can't find the drivers , rip 'em off EMMA, and you should be ok. At times you get the instal wizard , sometimes not. I am computer Dill , so it took a while to figure it out , but it works for most phones I unlock, I put on system first... Hope it helped you!!

iv got the same problem with a w950 now done first part ok but when i come to unlock it no go software just says switch on phone and attach cable
