Reset User code all BB5 phones with BB5BOX. - GSM-Forum

Some bb5 phones fbus cable not avialable in market.
So u can reset code with bb5box.

1. follow instruction bb5 unlocking.
2. connect vbat to phone battary connector.
3. power on. see to the phone "Local Mode"

4. connect data cable to phone (BB5BOX).
5. Press Unlock button and wait to "factory default" then press cancel button.
or
4. Connect usb data cable to phone.
5. open JAF or MTB then press "factory default".
NJoy.

Plz. add factory default option with bb5box next updates.

Impossible with bb5 box if phone is allready unlocked

This is user code option, Not SP Locked.
Today I reset done my E90, I have not FBus cable.

yes this way is tested
use power from bb5box and plug in the usb cable connected to the pc
open jaff software and select usb mode and factory default or filesystem format work 100% tested many many times

you can reset your security code using only..bb5box by raskal..only way if the phone is blocked...
as he says c_ahmah79
you can use bb5box just to put phone in local mode..and just a JAf p-key+ DKU-2...and user code edit

i think only if firmware of the phone is supported by bb5box

some firmware is not supported ,

Yes maybe!
But we have to need "factory reset" option on bb5box exe.
