Question Can you make it possible to increase session timeout on website?

I think we are automaticly logged off after 15 or 30 minutes. I'm using the site about every 2 hours, so i'm constantly logged out, which is a bit annoying.

Can you make it possible to be logged in for 24 hours before? Or maybe even longer, like a week?

I am aware of the security aspect, but in my opinion there isn't a real risk, since i'm not using the site on public computers, and i would easily notice if someone used it anyway...

I agree that the session should be increased to atleast 300 mins. This is something that the host could look at.

From my programming experience It may be difficult for the session to be open for 24 hours due to the application being restarted when the amount of virtual memory is used and needs to be reset.

In the meanwhile if you are not using a public computer you should enable the autostore for the email address and password so the login form will fill it all out for you.

I asked John to change the Tab order a while ago which he kindly did so the form now starts EMAIL, PASSWORD, LOGIN.

It should be really simple by using a cookie with e.g LoggedIn = true and set that cookie to be valid for a week for instance.

Exactly like this forum - here we are logged in until we manually log out.
