Is Restriction code, same code as received from www.unlockbase.com server? - GSM-Forum

When www.unlockbase.com IMEI database server provides a code, can it be entered when it asks to "Enter Restriction code" (as seen when inserting the wrong SIM card in phone) or must you enter: #PW+CODE+1#?

This is for a Nokia 6300.

For Nokia, always have to compose #PW+CODE+1# phone ON without SIM Card
