n95 8gb does not unlock via usb, only jaf + fbus cable

I have same problem.. i will try fbus mode, but phone rebot and rebot..

Maybe need external power.

well, then it might the cable (wrong resistor - search board)

try do open JAF sw, and put phone in local mode (steady), then close it, keep phone connected to jaf box, and open bb5_jaf_unlocker . if ur cable is good, this method will work.

Guys N95 8gig is only supported via Fbus unlocking in Jaf box interface....just use DKBB5 JAF Unlocker.

use 8.2 k resister instead of 7.5 in cable and change the 2 ohm resister into 1 ohm resister in jaf box i did this and i always have local mode after few restarts

hi, i just unlocked an N95 8GB had the same problem with the USB prompt appear on screen. i just connected and disconnected the FBUS cable till it entered local mode as it just kept on starting to offline mode previously. Finally got to local mode and unlocked within seconds.

very impressed with how easy it was to unlock after got the phone into local mode. hope this helps anyone who has the same prob
