i suggested to users allrady to use the JAF UNIVERSAL FBUS CABLE this cable have all resistors ouside placed, the pins are easy to replace and it works for 99% of the phones.

Same problem with JAF interface. Since JAF mcu was extracted from Narry and Davor before 3 years, since that time all china is producing jaf hard ware. Most of our reseller order ONLY PKEY-V with smartcard, all others they are doing by themselfs. Also the jaf platform itself, it was design before 3 years, i think it will be good time to change the interface now.

The fact is, jaf is working stable if the box is made according to the schematic and if the cables are okay.

Jaf also problem to local and test mode . but same cable for mt ok .

it voltage power low than mt . not problem in cable .its problem in JAF box .

mr. dejan thankyou!

I to have had the same problem entering test mode with alot of different phones n95, n95 8gb, e65 and also dct4 models 5000-d2. the clips that came with the package i bought seem to be hit and miss. so i bought the jaf universal cable and still had the same problems tried changing resistors but it was to fine and delicate circuit. i then looked for a cable with what i wanted on it to make it work and found a universal cable made by gpg industries through ebay. perfect local and test mode on all phones i couldn't unlock before. and i'm ready to try n95 8gb and n96 which i will be unlocking tonight and i'll post the logs to show. mr.dejan thankyou for the info to do with the jaf box it's info i have been looking for ages.

Universal cable

I checked but he has none left aristorob ebay.co.uk Or i seen the same cable in gsm-traders and a different one on gsm-support.net. but i know the one i have is a gpg industries universal jaf-mt cable has 3.3 5.1 7.5, + 10k resistor fitted. nice wee cable finder program tells you what cable to use and what value to set the bsi line at. and just like i said it has helped unlock alot of phones i couldn't before and today i unlocked my n95 8gb and a n96 without problems none what so ever with mr. dejan's bb5 jaf unlocker and flashes no problems in jaf. hope this helps. Best of luck.

Canyou let me know which resistor you used in the BS1 line when you unlocked the N95 8GB. Did youhave a steady local mode when you unlocked it, did you use JAF?

@ehsas_ghum
I know that we have to unlock Nokia "N95 8G - N96 - N82" via "DKBB5 JAF Unlocker" and other you can unlock them via "DKBB5 TRK Unlocker" in your case it is normal
Best Regards.
