error unlocking 08 what ever... My Solution

1 Attachment(s)
well people, here is my solution to stop the ****ing error that everybody had:

1. modified your cables
2. remove fuses from clk and data.
3. remove completely clk and data (when i say completely, you remove all the wires from testpoints)
4. put clk in the place of data
5. remove cable from data testpoint. replace with finner cable, like i use on ps2 modchip, just a little bit lesser than the original length
6. reassemble cable and you re done

Now is the other part to make unlock successful:

instead of using cable to power the phone, i used and external supply +-4v.

then connect from cable to phone bsi, connector and finally test points on unlocking.

And then bye bye unlocking error

Hi, could You show cables after modification

menelick 01-24-2008 14:55

Ok, no problem

soon i open the shop, i will take a picture of cables ;)

I wana make something clear... If unlock fail after all that modifications, don't worry is not your fault, it's just vspec that
don't support chip from phone...

SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL V-SPEC USERS THAT MAKE TESTS ABOUT CABLES... without you people, i ll never unlock a dam phone with v-spec ;)

OFFTOPIC:

Sorry for the upper post... ehehhehe i made mistake ;)

I tested your solution... and it works 100% seems like it depends from computer to computer also... in my store its works in my IBM without modification like a charm... in other computers didnīt work without modification, i had to do the same as u... funny is many *******rs were complaining from the same reason as u about the cables and i wasnīt finding the reason for the complains cause all my bb5 box are installed in my IBM :(

Many tks for helping all of us in this matter :D
