What could i be missing in my setup to unlock BB5 - GSM-Forum

I have 4 different BB5 phones that i wanted to unlock.

Everytime i tried to click on INFO JAF says Powering on the phone and that is about it. oh and then it says Failed.

i am obviously doing something stupid and i cant seem to figure that out.

I have the JAF and then the JAF V-SPEC connected to it. My reseller confirmed the V-SPEC is activated and i have updated the PKEY as well.

And on BB5 i have TP unlock option enabled as well. ( and i have updated the JAF.INI file in the program files folder. )

The cables, i have connected them according to the pictures. ( not the testpoints since i dont need to connect that untill i am asked to do so )

so what am i missing?

If i select TP unlock and click on UNLOCK then the application says "setting local mode ' and fails.

any thoughts?
