5500 unlocking Advance box

Can anybody please help here and tell me what the problem are. Why does this phone not do the unlock. Very new with Advance box

Hi, use shorter POP Cable if possible because the one that came with
AdvanceBox package is sometimes too long for 3110, 3109c and 5500 phones.

Next thing is to check your TP Connection because on your LOGS:

> Waiting for phone....
> Waiting for phone....
> Waiting for phone....

This means that the connection is not stable and so the phone hangs and hangs
by giving you "Waiting for phone...." message. Only push the TP Pins halfway
and do not put too much force on the TP on the phone's PCB

Also, do not click the Abort Button because the you must let the software
go into Learning Mode just in case it cannot unlock it with the Direct Unlock (TP).

SO never click abort and wait for it to completely finish the procedure.

So assuming that you are following the correct TP for the 5500, you will
definitely unlock your phone.

You can also try the USB connection for the phone in the new 2.16 AdvanceBox
Software. It only works with old USB drivers for POP Cables so be sure not to
update your USB Drivers yet.

Also, don't forget to put the Black Alligator Clip near the RAP or Flash chip to you
could get ample grounding during unlocking.
