How about Advanced-VSPEC

Dear AdvancedBB5 Team,

We see that AdvancedUFS can be ported to UFS+adv-BB5 interface, which is great work by your team.

The question I wanted to ask, can you do the same for Jaf+VSPEC. I think many users will be willing to pay this. For poeple that have Jaf-vspec, can have the option of running in this case thrid party software AdvancedVSPEC.

Why ask for this option??
Because allready some have both VSPEC and AdvancedBB5, so no war.

No price war, either keep same price of Advanceufs has the same price Advancedvspec.

We know something like this needs to be talked over with GSMFUN and VSPEC team, but we hope they see a good market for this for both AdvancedBB5 and VSPEC.

Thank you,

hmn...

VSPEC is different product and coder. If we are only allowed to use JAF port then we can integrate the AdvanceUFS box to JAF since they have same pinout.

Regards,
Yes, keep the same systerm VSPEC is different product and coder.

But, I was talking if AdvanceBox team can port the SOFTWARE to the JAF+VSPEC BOX. JAF+VSPEC users only need to buy Advanced-VSPEC software update and away we go. We buy as thrid party software, from you and of cause you will support Advanced-VSPEC issues only, at this point it has nothing to do with JAF-VSPEC. For example, same idea as P-Key using UFS interface.

I know this a big step, and the right poeple like need to have time to talk over is new big market.

@Agua

Learning Mode is implemented in the Hardware Level. There is no way to implement
the same Learning Mode in AdvanceBoxes to other boxes unless these boxes were
to be reprogrammed with a new CPLD or FPGA bitstream.

So the only thing we can do is to port AdvanceUFS to JAF Box if the need arises. For now,
AdvanceUFS is only compatible with UFS boxes, but in reality, we can port AdvanceUFS to other
RS-232 devices such as "one-stop-factory's" USB Unibox and even to a regular DB-9 COM Port!
And who knows, maybe we can even make some "CLIP" interface for AdvanceUFS so that you
will no longer need a PC to unlock... Just for future plans ;-)

Anyway, take a look at this very early design of AdvanceUFS made last year...

aka "AdvanceUnibox" BB5 Ghetto TP Adapter:

Best Regards,
