KP500 Unlock no success - GSM-Forum

Hi all,
I try to unlock Kp500 today, phone says "USIM LOCK"
I try to input the codes none of them work, there is simply no reaction from phone when I press OK button. Does this mean the code is wrong or what.
Here is the log:

Are you Tried with these procedure

Haven't you read the LOG?
I tried both KP500 & KP500new

We need direct unlock!!!

Phone is frezzed you need to flash your phone and then you will be able to unlock by entering codes.

Don't talk nonsense, phone is not freezed. Phone won't accept any code (but not always). This is what did. First take out and put back battery, restart phone, type reset code,phone doesn't accept reset code either, type code for unlock again, when you see USIM UNLOCK touch it you will see a menu with different locks --tab NETWORK LOCK--type the NCK---> code accepted.

Follow my procedures, your phone will accept the code.

I have had the same problem and solved by flashing phone thats why i told you that

not all time kp500 ask for NCK cod so try to know your phone is asked for witch cod

use nck cod the type it phone will give you message tell me what you see

Hi,
None Kp500 ask for NCK Code u have to Goto Same Security Settings MENU then Simlock and Enter Code..
Its better Then Direct Unlock not damage the Network problem area...on some varient it causes problem.

Ive also had this problem, but it wasnt the box, the phone was allready unlocked.

Hi,
When Phone is Unlocked An error Should appear while code reading...
As EEPROm is already Unlocked no Data can be Readed as locked

i have the same problem, and i insert teh code, the phone does not say anything, i turn off, and put a new operator sim, and voila IS UNLOCKED!
