just got new microbox,have updated,trying to unlock rf600
keep getting timeout,after pressing power on
any help would be great

If you mean lg KF600, then you need lg KE500 cable and your phone will be unlocked

yes i did mean kf600.
i have connected the cable to microbox,but it keeps coming up with timed out after pressing start and the box running to 100% at the bottom

If you used KE500 cable and the box can't connect to the phone so you have a problem in phone connector or a faulty cable, plz check this 2 issues.

Is there any other cable i could use,this one came with the box.. I only got today..
The box logs on to the server,but does not reconise the phone. there is 3 light on the box,only 2 are lit,red and blue

You are already adviced to use KE500 Cable...

I HAVE TRIED THE CABLE MENTIONED,i was wondering if theres another way to test the box is working properly.
the computer connects to box and checks serial no. ok

If Box Detected and Serial is readed... then Box is ok!

Please Check cable or Phone connecter maybe its demage... & For Clearification please post log!

just use ke500 cable and your problem will solved
many pices unlocked with no problem as a charm

log file is a file with a name: MICRO-BOX LG 2008_09_21.log for example, you find it at the same folder where you run microbox modules
