samsung s8500 [Answered]

hi
Ca n anyone help me,im trying to unlock samsung s8500,with microusb,but this fone doesnt get detected by software,i put it in download mode,it gets detected,but it gives error 2,can anyone suggest something,thnx

Hi, put the phone in download mode select S8500 if you whant to make it with auto patch or with * if you whant to do it directly. Here is a video with autopatch: Samsung S8500 Direct unlock using Autopatch with Micro-Box - www.micro-box.com - YouTube

hello, the problem that i have it gives me error 2, and nothing is displayed,the vidioes are not very clear,and fast, what does error 2 mean?.
Im usning a wifi to pick the intenet,would that be the cause you think?thnx m8.

Ok, then power on your phone normaly (not in download mode) and select S8500* (if you don't find it update to latest AIO which is V2.0.7.9 now) select usb port and unlock it.

hi again,i followed all your instructions,but still the same,the thing is in normal way it doesnt get detected by the software,whats goinbg on,any more tips,thnx.

Can you post the log for S8500* model here. Test in samsung mode and also in qualcom mode *#SAMUSB# or *#QUAUSB# (where S=7 A=2 ...)

Ok no problem with codes but your phone should be seen very fast. Try to reinstall samsung drivers, also you can flash the phone with a fw from support (Flashing is in download mode) then retry unlocking.

hello again,i installed new drivers,and also in the fone menues chose,kies, i get comms now but the error 2 still there,my problem is comms problem and since the fone is under warranty the owner doesnt want it flash,

can you find out what this error mean?also is kies the right setting?thnx

I can't figure out what are you doing wrong the only thing I got in mind is that you don't select S8500* but you select S8500 simple or you put the phone in download mode selecting S8500*

im getting same error just shows "mtp device" at the bottom icon bar. phone isnt picked up unless u put in download mode, and then it just gives error2 all the time. pls help
