Hey man, can you help?...finally got the box today and is not working for me, maybe because is my first time and there is no freaking instructions...I'm not able to do the efs reset...

1. What cable are we to use for the efs reset USB or RJ5? (I know the intructions say to use UART after reset what about b4 when you put the phone on download)
2. Does the phone stay on donwload mode after the reset(or does the phone re-start by itself?) are we to put any code?? i.e. 7284/0808

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT..

I own a 900W8 that needs a new IMEI, I have been scouring the entire internet for weeks now without any possible sign of a solution. I have seen people claiming that OctoPlus box and SPT had the fix, but also many replies stating that it DOES in fact change the IMEI but it damages the certification causing it to be unable to connect to networks.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE confirm that this actually works!?

This is driving me mad.

NOTE: ( N9005 AND N900w8 are Similer You can Reset EFS and repair IMEI and 3g Network for N9005 in N900w8 )

you can chose N9005 if N900w8 is not working both are same models
