Member: 2264047 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Help repair network SM-N900T Now, I can use 4G LTE to call through VoLTE but calling without LTE does not work most of the time (Sometimes it does). I think it is stuck on 4G LTE mode. I tried setting WCDMA/GSM only to see if it works but it could not register to network. After reading on the internet, I think Repair 3G/4G needs to be done but the original service person thinks I'm crazy/scamming him because I'm able to make calls with LTE. I'm a newbie. Can someone please help me or educate me as to what is going on with my phone? |

Member: 2076039 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 648 | I think the issue lies with the network nv items. Its why I now use the z3X box for note 3 repair. You MUST find a N900T with a good network and read the QCN from it. Load the QCN onto the troubled NOTE 3 and wipe EFS after. Then write cert. Win. (unfortunately this isn't possible with the SPT box...as far as I know. It doesn't restore the proper nv items) |

Member: 2076039 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 648 | As long as the QCN was taken with a recent version of z3x Samsung tool. If you just backed up nv items you probably didn't get all of them. For some reason the Note 3 has a special set of RF NV items that I wasn't able to restore (except through the z3x box). I'll try to check and see if I can find a qcn for you on Friday. |
