Hey can you post what your SPT BOX HW id is.

I bet your Product ID is all zeros.

if it is I think your FTDI chip is no longer any good.

SELG Fusion Box SE Tool Pack w/o smart-card (10 cables) - GsmServer

Maybe I buy some of these if they are the same or similar so when spt craps out again I can just use this other interface and not have to wait on a replacement part.
Hello,

You can use any kind of box/cables with SPT software.

Just connect yourr box.cable, run SPT and select COM port of your other box.

Try to install D2XX drivers for your "Other Devices" -> "SPT BOX" device before use MProg.

Hello,

If you have the same issue with one more box this means that its a problem with Win.
Im not sure but it may be result of automatic updates. I can not find another reason.

What to do: try to install not latest but more old FTDI drivers. Lets see results.

Thanks man, I know what the problem is now(IS NOT WINDOWS or DRIVERS), I'll PM you., the culprit internal config (eeprom data) fault.

The solution
Mprog works but in order for the program to recognize the box I installed the drivers as USB serial port and select FTDI Manufacture, then still the program would not find it on scan, but when press program, it does work. I got it back. I also did the same with z3 box and it works too but the only problem is share COM port # so I can only have 1 connected.

Hello,

Program your boxes FTDI eeprom with Infinity .ept file (see link to Infinity support area in my previous post). After that I think you will be able to connect both boxes at the same time and you will get different COM port numbers.

Also you can program one as Infinity and 2nd one leave as Default.

Waiting for your results.

You can try to re-program your box with new EPT file: Infinity Support Area
