Hi,
I need an efs file for s4, i9500. I need in tar format, to flash with odin as the phone hangs at logo. Anyone with this file, please help... Thanks!!!

I have a major problem trying to repair EFS on I9500.

Knox keeps blocking SU in Android 4.3. If I downgrade to 4.2.2, do IMEI repair it shows 0044... but then take it back to 4.3 and IMEI and SN seem fine, signal shows fine and can make emergency calls but not registered on network.

Can anyone recommend the correct flash files and IMEI rewrite procedure to get this sorted out.

Once an S4 has been flashed to 4.3 is there anyway to downgrade it and repair the EFS area?

How do I prevent Knox from messing around the repair procedure?

How do you get past KNOX when repairing the EFS area on Android 4.3?

root your device
1. Phone must be powered on.
2. Enable "USB debugging" in "Settings"-"Developer options".
To enable "Developer options" for Android 4.3+ go to
"Settings"-"About phone" and tap on "Build Number" 7 times.
3. Type on phone *#0808# and choose "MTP + ADB".

Thank you sir. I know this procedure, but the problem here is that the phone is stuck at samsung logo, and therefore cannot be read by z3x software. Only option would be to flash using odin, but odin does not recognise the .bak file. I have tried renaming to .tar, still no luck. Any ideas?

I tried this file but it does not appear to help at all. IMEI null/null after upload and security function still blocking any SU activity and preventing IMEI repair. Should I try to downgrade this phone to 4.2.2. to fix it or still keep fighting with 4.3?
