There a few ways, but in all cases need to upload a some update package via SD card. A good guide is writen here. Just follow the steps and after rooting - unlock via Z3x. WBR, DebeliaMark, BG |

Member: 1555702 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Hi, I already switched to modem. I figured out: After resurrecting I8160P with Riff Box the Splash Screen and Download Mode Screen show I8160. When flashing I8160P firmware (2.3.6 or 4.1.2) there is no IMEI and therefore no network and no way to repair IMEI via Z3X Box. When flashing I8160 firmware *#06# shows IMEI and phone is registered in network. This behaviour is reproducible. Regards, onkeltom Last edited by onkeltom; 05-19-2013 at 21:06. |

Member: 1945059 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hello, I have done a software upgrade vfrom GB 2.3.6 (XEF) to JB 4.1.2 (DBT) including a re partition by a pit file. Everything works, but the Mobile is now seen by KIES as a German one (DBT) an even after downgrading to GB (XEF) the software works, but Kies just identify it as an German Variant. So do I need pit file need a pit file for the GT-I8160P (NFC), France (XEF), to reset back all to France version (which was the original one?) Where can I get it? During the flashing process i have used the pit file of GT-I8160 (without "P") (that one, that can be found in the net, named: GT-I8160_EUR_XX_4G.pit) Is there any difference in the pitfiles between the P or non P variants? Thanks! |
